Brunch with Belgian Horses and Float
Snake River · Jackson Hole
The Experience
Private Snake River Float, Riverside Brunch & Belgian Draft Horse Experience
Experience Jackson Hole through one of the most iconic and intimate river-and-horse adventures in the American West.
Brunch with Belgians is an exclusive private morning float on the scenic Snake River, paired with a fresh, locally sourced riverside brunch served at our secluded tipi camp. Reserved exclusively for your party, this unique experience allows you to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tranquility of nature in a private setting.
Your experience begins with a peaceful 1.5-hour float in our handcrafted wooden dory boats—among the rarest and most elegant on the river today. Originally designed in the 1940s for the McKenzie River, these handcrafted boats provide exceptional comfort with padded seating, supportive chair backs, wool blankets, and hot beverages served while we float. As you depart, expansive views of the Teton Range, Gros Ventre Range, and Snake River Range unfold around you. The quiet is profound—broken only by the gentle dip of the oars and the distant call of birds along the riverbanks—creating a deeply calming and immersive experience.
This stretch of river offers some of the most remarkable bald eagle viewing in Jackson Hole, with more than eight active bald eagle nesting sites along the float. Morning hours provide optimal conditions for wildlife activity, and guests frequently observe bald eagles soaring overhead, along with ducks, geese, pelicans, marmots, beavers, moose, deer, elk, and, on very rare occasions, bears. While wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, this tour consistently delivers exceptional opportunities to observe animals in their natural habitat, uninterrupted by crowds or noise.
The float concludes at our private ranch take-out, followed by a short, scenic walk to tipi camp where brunch awaits—served exclusively for your party. Enjoy a thoughtfully curated spread featuring speciality salads, bagels with cream cheese, lox and smoked trout, black-and-blue sausage, organic berries and fresh fruit, along with orange juice, hot coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Gluten-free and other dietary accommodations are available upon request. If the morning air remains crisp, a candlelit, fire-warmed tipi provides a cozy space to relax as coats come off and conversation flows.
Members of your party may choose to meet directly at tipi camp to enjoy brunch and time at the ranch, where our Belgian draft horses—gentle giants of the working horse world—often greet guests and welcome a friendly visit. Advance reservations are strongly recommended to ensure availability.

Float trip, brunch and horse experience all wrapped into one adventure.
Wow, best experience we have had while traveling in Jackson Hole. We first enjoyed an amazing and peaceful float down the mighty Snake River. We saw multiple eagles, marmots, beavers, and even a moose. The river portion of our tour ended at Tipi Camp, where we were greeted by an amazing charcuterie spread with warm smiles. We took in the views of the Grand Teton from camp while our meal was prepared private-chef style on the grill. It was the best meal we had on our entire trip.

Add a Whole Horse Experience to your Morning Adventure
Following your float, relax and savor a delicious brunch featuring locally sourced ingredients while surrounded by the beauty of Jackson Hole. After brunch, you’ll be introduced to our magnificent Belgian Draft Horses. Spend time getting up close with these gentle giants – petting, feeding, brushing, and experiencing the calm connection and affection these remarkable animals provide.
Your time with the horses provides insight into how they communicate with each other and with you. You may want to help with harnessing to see how they willingly work when asked, or you may want to stroll through the forest with them as they head to their favorite grazing spots. However you choose to spend your time with them, you will experience a unique connection with these special horses.
To add to the adventure it is your option to book an additional wagon ride after the float and brunch. We pull you through our expansive cottonwood forest in an antique wooden wagon. It can seat up to 18 people where the sites of the Grand Teton and Snake River abound. It is such a great way to have a quality authentic western experience in the heart of Jackson Hole.

Guests frequently see bald eagles and their nesting sites along the river.
