Hot Chocolate Sleigh Ride

• Please meet at the Stilson Lot (Village Road Transit Center) in Wilson, WY. From there, you’ll follow your guide a short distance to Tipi Camp in your own vehicle. Please make note of the meeting time at confirmation. If you are unsure of the meeting time, please contact us directly at 307-732-2628.
• Provided on every departure: blankets, cups, wine-key, non-alcoholic beverages, heated dining tent, heated tipis, outdoor fire, snowshoes for camp exploration.
• Guests are welcome to bring their favorite adult beverages.

• Warm layers, winter hat, gloves or mittens, sunglasses (if desired), appropriate winter footwear, camera, alcoholic beverages to enjoy (if desired), a sense of adventure…

• Guide gratuity is not included. We do recommend having cash on hand to tip the staff. Standard gratuity in Jackson Hole is 20% for guided services, although any amount will be appreciated. At Jackson Hole Vintage Adventures, gratuities are shared among the crew.

Guests are treated to a horse-drawn vintage wooden sleigh adventure, pulled by Belgian draft horses.  This tour winds its way through groves of cottonwood trees and along the Snake River, before arriving at Tipi Camp.  At camp, guests enjoy hot chocolate or hot mulled cider, s’mores over a campfire, and other winter treats.

Our season runs from the end of November to the end of March.  Reservations are best made well in advance of your arrival, as availability is limited.  Each of our tours is private, so booking in advance guarantees that you will be more likely to book your first choice.  Holiday seasons are especially busy, with many families visiting Jackson Hole.

Yes, this is a luxury tour, with each departure tailored to your group specifically and run as a private tour.  Our sleighs are vintage, handcrafted wooden sleighs, pulled by Belgian draft horses, offering a unique, “old-world” winter experience.

Our secluded camp, hidden among the cottonwoods, is a cozy gathering spot for friends and family to enjoy this quiet corner of the valley.  Whether you join us for a full meal, or appetizers, or a hot cocoa adventure, you will see that this place is like no other, and that this is the spot to truly experience the magic of winter.

You can either make a reservation request online, or you can call us to reserve your spot.  Every departure is private, so we will work with you to make sure that your tour meets your expectations.  We will also confirm your meeting location and what to wear, and what to bring, to ensure that your time with us is comfortable and enjoyable.

Yes, our sleigh rides are family friendly and any age is welcome.  Each tour is private, so you can bring your entire family, or friend group for this adventure.  The Hot Chocolate Sleigh Ride is good for families with children, groups of friends, or couples.

There’s no meal served, but children (and adults) are especially delighted by roasting s’mores over the fire, and sipping hot cocoa in a winter wonderland.  It carries a certain nostalgia for those childhood moments we remember well.  The relaxed pace and cozy setting makes this tour equally accessible for multi-generational families traveling together.
