Two Draft Horses Take A Drink From A Pond During The Summertime At Tipi Camp In Jackson Hole Wyoming

Jackson Whole Horse Experience

A Unique Equine Adventure in Jackson Hole

The Jackson Whole Horse Experience is a distinctive equestrian encounter that stands on its own as a refined outdoor adventure in Jackson Hole. Thoughtfully designed for guests seeking a slower, more intimate connection with horses and landscape, this experience is ideal for non-boaters, families with young children, photographers, seniors, and anyone drawn to the quiet magic of ranch life along the Snake River. Availability is intentionally limited to preserve the unhurried, personal nature of the experience.

Set within our private cottonwood-forested ranch, guests are welcomed into a serene riverside environment where time seems to slow. Here, you’ll spend meaningful time with our Belgian draft horses—gentle giants whose calm presence and curious personalities invite authentic connection. Guests may observe them grazing in the meadows, learn how teams are hitched, relax nearby as they move through the landscape, or simply enjoy close interaction and photographs in a peaceful, natural setting.

The experience may include a relaxed horse-drawn ride through the ranch in a wheeled sleigh, offering a quiet journey beneath gentle cottonwoods and open sky. The soft sound of hooves, the steady movement of the horses, and the surrounding stillness create a deeply grounding atmosphere. This is not a performance or a ride in the traditional sense, but an intentional, unassuming encounter designed to foster connection—with the animals, the land, and the people you share the experience with.

Guests often describe the Jackson Whole Horse Experience as one of the most memorable parts of their time in Jackson Hole. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with a river float, it reflects the heart of Jackson Hole Vintage Adventures: authenticity, craftsmanship, and luxury defined by presence rather than pace.
