Jackson Hole Sleigh RideJackson Hole Sleigh Ride

Luxury Evening Experience in Jackson Hole

As the sun sets behind the Teton Range and the mountains glow with warm alpenglow, you are invited to experience one of Jackson Hole’s most intimate and unforgettable winter evenings. This private appetizer sleigh ride is designed for discerning travelers who value authenticity, comfort, and quiet luxury—an experience that feels both timeless and deeply personal. Ideal for couples and small private groups, this evening offers a refined alternative to crowded winter activities and is best reserved in advance due to limited availability.

Your experience begins with a private meet-up at the Teton Village Transit Center (Stilson), where you’ll be greeted by your knowledgeable guide before following them to a secluded private ranch near Wilson, Wyoming. As you arrive in your own vehicle, you are welcomed through the gate by your waiting sleigh and a team of majestic draft horses, set against the serene beauty of the Snake River corridor. Guests are encouraged to take their time gearing up in warm winter layers before being introduced to their horses—gentle giants who patiently await and are happy to be greeted up close. From the outset, the pace is unhurried and intentional, allowing you to fully settle into the moment.

Once aboard, your private group glides along snow-covered trails beside the Snake River, surrounded by sweeping views of the Teton, Gros Ventre, and Snake River ranges. The sleigh ride takes you through a soft winter landscape, unfolding beneath a sky that shifts from glowing sunset hues to crisp mountain twilight. The soft creak of the sleigh runners, the steady breath of the horses in the cold air, and the muffled quiet of fresh snow create an atmosphere that feels both grounding and rare—an authentic step back in time that echoes the early days of life in the West.

Your journey concludes at a snow-blanketed tipi camp reserved exclusively for your party. A roaring campfire welcomes you, offering warmth and a place to relax along the riverbank. Here, you’ll enjoy hot beverages and thoughtfully prepared light appetizers, served fireside or inside a cozy, fire-lit tipi. Appetizers often include warm spinach artichoke dip with fresh bread, a curated charcuterie board, nuts, olives, and assorted crackers, with gluten-free and dietary accommodations available upon request. Guests are welcome to linger at camp for as long as they feel comfortable, savoring the privacy, stillness, and simple luxury of being immersed in nature. Adult beverages are welcome—corkage is included—allowing you to toast to an evening that captures the spirit of Jackson Hole just as it was meant to be experienced.

Was That a Dream?

Friends and I shared a magical experience on a horse-drawn sleigh to tipi camp along the Snake River in mid-December. The warm food, the rustic ambience, and the soft falling snow made for a quintessential winter afternoon. At the conclusion of our experience, the little boy with us turned to his mom and said, 'Mommy, was that a dream?' Need I say more. A must-do.
